On September 16th, 2012, The San Francisco Giants (MLB) will be holding their annual Giant Race 5K, 10K, and Half Marathon to benefit Project Open Hands. POH was founded in San Francisco back in 1985 and serves to provide meals to the needy (more specifically, those with severe illness, HIV/AIDS, and the elderly). Those who run in the Giant Race aren't required to participate in the fundraiser, but I thought, Why the Hell not? I'm already going to run 13.1 miles. Might as well do some good in the meantime! So I've set up my own fundraiser page:

I know that times are hard for many people right now, and I have no intention of pressing people to donate. I completely understand and will not feel disappointed! So if anyone would like to donate any dollar amount they'd like, I would greatly appreciate it. And for those who do donate, I am offering free sketches/drawings!
If you donate:
$00-10 : Receive a black and white lined drawing of a character of your choice
$11-20 : Receive a flat colored drawing (no shading) of a character of your choice
$21+ : Well, I'll do something more than the above, but I'll figure that out if anyone does donate that amount
The drawings will be race and/or SF Giants baseball themed to stay with the spirit of the event.
There is still plenty of time until September, so if you'd like to donate at a later time, please feel free.
Oh, and there is no financial/prize incentive for me based on what I raise for POH other than some SF Giantss merchandise that I could buy at the dugout store on my own, so I have no ulterior motive to raise a certain amount. And this will be my third half marathon within a 12-month period, so I promise I will finish
Thank you in advance!
